Going Grey

It's not really a bad thing, I promise! While bright color and bold prints are spring's design mantra, I'm still completely drawn to this classic, soft and yet somehow still inviting color palette.

What say you, luvies? Would you ever go grey in your house? Because I've heard once you go grey, it's there to stay! {well really, I just made that up but the rhyme makes it sound convincing, no?!)

I've always wanted to paint some grey walls. Love how colours pop against grey walls. Great selection of interiors here!

I think grey makes everything effortlessly beautiful and automatically rich looking. Classic!

I love the grey look. Especially when mixed with white and touches of black. And there are very few colors that don't look great with grey, making it a perfect neutral.

I am with you on sticking with the grey. I work in color here and there, especially in the spring - but greys are my go to - there is something extremely soothing about grey for me.
Much love,

I love grey! I'm hoping to paint out new apartment a very light shade of grey.

I just painted my new apartment various shades of grey! It's gorgeous, and actually makes me a little bolder than I used to be in terms of encouraging bright details.

Defnitely loving all the grey in these pics but what I'm really taken with is the exposed clothing and shelving in the kitchen and bedroom. Why hide all your pretties?!

A great collection of images! I love 'neutral' interior - colourwise of course - as they are a perfect background for some small colourful details - just a bunch of freh flowers, some cusions, a picture ... just perfect!

Oh that first picture is gorgeous! Like the rug and the pretty closet on the left. Gorgeous!

I just bought a grey rug from Zara Home that I LOVE. I mean, stripes + grey. And under $30. A winner, right?! :)

One of my favorite colors. Reminds me of the beautiful Seattle sky.

I would consider going grey if I can add a pop colour like the bottom image. Otherwise, I'd feel like I'm living in a black and white movie ... not entirely a bad thing but I'd prefer a bold colour to contrast with the sophistication of the grey interior: yellow and grey are always a winning colour combo.

I did! We painted one of our bedroom walls and I have to tell that I like the result, but 2 things: now seems smaller and looks darker (obviously, but I mean that the light is not enough as before). I posted about my grey bedroom...
kisses from Barcelona!
