Monday Work Wear {Wrap it Up}

Scarves are an amazing secret fashion weapon. They can instantly transform any look, particularly when expertly tied. I've long marveled at what seems to be the European knack to mix effortlessness and sophistication with each circle around the neck.

Slide1

All the while, my attempts seem to me to appear sloppy and amateurish. That's why I was so excited to discover this little scarf tying tutorial.

Slide2

I am certainly going to try my hand at mastering this how-to, given that scarves are a San Francisco fashion must. And it's a fun way to add a little eye-catcher to an otherwise classic office look.

Monday Work Wear {Wrap it Up}

I'll be sure to let you know how my scarf tying trial goes. {hint, hint take a look here later today!}

I'm a big fan of scarves - they dress up an outfit without any effort at all. Excellent choice if I do say so myself.

I also love scarves on others but rarely on myself! Wendy over at Wendy's Lookbook made this awesome video of 25 ways to tie a scarf that's inspired me to wear them more...definitely worth watching.

Love this look, Erin! Blue, red and white is my all time favorite combo. Adding that bit of cheetah just made this look super chic!

Very clever. I'm currently taking photos of my work wardrobe for my blog. As a teacher, I need to ensure I balance formal and comfortable (without being so fashion forward that it dates by the next season).

Would love more suggestions. Rx
