Ooh, I would love to travel Florida with my mom. I live in Seattle & she lives in MI so we don't get to see each other anywhere near as often as we'd like. We used to take all our family vacations in FL and it would be great to take her there!

I'd love to fly with my mom to NYC, a place she's never been. From the day she and my dad took me, their adopted (and only) daughter, into their arms, I've felt so loved and cherished. In a way, it breaks my heart to be *potentially* moving away after graduation to a place she's never been, and I'd love to be the tour guide on her first visit!

My dad doesn't like to travel and my mom wants to badly. I would love to take her on a trip to Italy, a place she has wanted to travel to all her life, and show her how much we all appreciate her love and support!

Or I'd take her to Ohio to see my sister, who we never get to see. It would be a really special visit if we did, though.

This is such a generous giveaway! I fell in love with the Lo & Sons bags when I saw them a couple of weeks ago :). I'd for sure take my mom to New York - she's never been and has always wanted to go. I think it'd be a great girls bonding experience, plus I can't remember the last time my mom took a vacation - the few times she's gotten on a plane in the past few years it's been for work. She has always worked hard for me and my brother - when we were young and our parents first divorced she still made sure that we got to go to Disney :). If I had plane tickets taken care of, I'd be able to treat my mom to a fabulous trip!

My favorite memory with my mother is what we call "bonding." Most weeks, on Saturday or Sunday, my mom and I have lunch and run errands....sometimes it's shopping, sometimes its boring but it is with her and its our time.

I'd love to take her to Hawaii!

Simply Mel {Reverie} said...

Wow ~ mom memories are so dear to my heart. So many to share, but one of my favorite and most endearing is how she always would come and tuck us into bed at night. And then right before she went to sleep (hours later of course), she would come into the room again, kiss me on the forehead, make sure I was covered with the cozy duvet and then whisper, "I love you". I've since adopted this bed-time routine and late-night check-on-her moment with my little crumb. I hope it is as comforting to her as it has always been to me.

And where would I LOVE to take my mom.... well, I would love to jump on a plane with my little girl and fly to Georgia and surprise my mom/her grandmother because we so rarely get to visit her.

What a fun idea! I'd like to travel to Vancouver, BC Canada with my mom! I was born there + have never returned since our family moved just 3 years after I was born (that's over 30 years ago!) I see family photos (+ Super8 film!!) of Vancouver, and hear all the stories from family members, but I don't remember it at all. I admit-- I AM JEALOUS! It looks + sounds so fabulous! My mom + I work together everyday (we own + operate a catering company + food shop) but rarely get the chance to travel together as mother + daughter. We have talked of returning many times but have not been able to schedule the trip. What a treat this would be for my mom (+ best friend,) and myself! ;) I will tweet abt this now + like on Facebook too! Happy Anniversary you fabulous duo, you two!

It would be an absolute dream to see my most wonderful and most deserving Mom, Ashley, go to San Fransisco. Of course I wouldn't mind being there with her (!!), but more than anything, I would love for HER to be able to do something she's wanted to do for so many years: go to California. When I was able to travel to San Fran with my boyfriend for business, I was seriously contemplating turning my ticket over to my Mom, who I truly believe would find her niche in this hippie/cool/cultural/anything-goes heaven on earth. She is the essence of San Fransisco and so deserves to experience it first hand. With a heart of gold that is always bursting at the seams with unparalled love and generousity (I mean really, she is an angel), my sis and I would be the happiest girls in the world if we could play any part in giving her the gift of her dream vacation.

Thanks for this fantastic opportunity :)

.....and cheers to you and your guy, and to many, many more years!

I would love to travel with my fiance to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We are getting married in October of this year and planning has been such a crazy process we have not even begun to think of our honeymoon. After such a tedious and intense year of planning for our wedding, we need a break. I am fortunate to be working with the amazing Jesi Haack on my wedding, so this helps in my crazy planning process, but I am a bride that can become crazy about the details. I think I may be driving myself and my fiance bonkers with design wedding details (pinning away inspiration, constantly talking and thinking wedding)....I am such a detail oriented person and want to make my wedding such an enjoyable experience for all our guests that I am having a hard time just relaxing in the process. This trip would allow us to do just that, relax and enjoy eachother without interruption after all our hard work.

Felicity said...

Where would I like to travel? I think it would be easier to answer with placed I don't want to visit; that list would be shorted! I think Iceland tops my list at the moment, but Poland, Australia, Antarctica, Turkey, and the Galapagos are high on the list too. Really, anywhere I haven't already been would be awesome!
