A Great Space

Now that things are getting back to normal after the wedding, I had to find another project to keep my creative juices flowing so next up...home renovation! At this point, I have no idea what I'm getting myself into, but I'm loving step 1: bank inspiration.

Like this rad Brooklyn apartment's kitchen and dinning room.

I abosultely adore the mismatched Ikea chairs - brilliant way to add interest and play off of the (stunning) hard wood floors, and in totally economical fashion. And I spy lots of handy Ikea shelves in the kitchen too. Brilliant and on budget? Love it.

Definitely filing these ideas away for later! Be sure you check out the rest of the apartment here.

The mismatched Ikea chairs totally work! I'd love for you to stop by today and let me know what you think of my new bedroom (still a work in progress since my Ikea chairs are about all the furniture I've got!).

Beautifully done. I would have never thought to put those chairs together like that since I still live in the land of "Matchy-Matchy". Nicely done.

that table looks a lot like the parson's desk...or, the parson's desk would look great too! plus that drawer for storing napkins or coasters-perfect!

Super cute! I don't know about the open shelving though; all your dishes would get pretty dusty.

I own those stools in the first picture. WE us them for around our kitchen counter - they're pretty comfortable - if you plan on sitting on them for short periods of time. lol
love your blog. FOLLOWING!!
